“…captures the sadness, irreverence and compassion of childhood with carefully naive performances” Ed Cripps

Tusk Tusk

Worcester, Wednesday 25th November, 5:05pm

Despite some wonderful programmes and flyers, there was sadly no audience other than the judges for this performance, which rather changed the mood compared to the previous three. However, the three actors coped well and capture the sadness, irreverence and compassion of childhood with carefully naive performances. The set was expertly arranged (it must have taken hours to clean up) and there were some touching moments, particularly in the scenes involving all three siblings. A couple of lines were fluffed and some of the cues and blocking were a bit wayward, but this was a subtle, engaging piece that would, no doubt, improve with a proper audience.
